Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia

Having an international circuit is not one thing that many countries around the world can have. That is because there are a lot of things that a country needs to have in order to have an international circuit. Fortunately, one country in Southeast Asia region, Malaysia, has the pride of their country through Sepang International Circuit. Yes, this circuit has become the pride of the Malaysia. This circuit is designed by the German designer that had designed some major world circuits such as the one in Shanghai, Istanbul, and Valencia. Since the day this circuit was built, the circuit was finished in 1999. Soon after that, the Prime Minister of Malaysia at that time finally inaugurated the circuit as the official international circuit that Malaysia has.

The basic design of this circuit is considerably unique. That is what many racers said about this circuit. That is because this circuit has the one long sprint track for about 900 meters. As an addition to that, on the end of that 900 meters sprint track, you will be able to find the hairpin corner before you can finally get another 900 meters of sprint track on this Sepang International Circuit. That is one interesting thing that you might never find from any other circuit in the world. That is because the sprint track is totally straight so that you can take your hand off the steer and your ride will go straight to the finish line. For the other overall design, this international circuit is still considerably similar with many other international circuits around the globe.

Even though this circuit is used mostly for the top class Malaysian race such as the GP and local F1, there are also some other real international race that took place on this Sepang International Circuit. One of them is the international GP that took place once in a year on this circuit. The same thing goes to the International F1 race that unfortunately has stopped using this circuit because of the ticket problem. That is because the ticket sales of the F1 race are decreasing over time so that F1 association officially announced that they would not use this circuit again since 2013. However, the International Moto GP is still using this international circuit that becomes the pride of the Malaysian people.
