Temple of Heaven, or in the local language also called as Tiantandongmen is one of the charming tourism destination located in Beijing, China. Unesco in 1998 gave awards to the Temple of Heaven as a world heritage site.
Temple of Heaven is a large circular-roof building as many as three levels. This building was once functioned as a place to pray for the emperor for the abundance of the harvest. In 1988, Temple of Heaven was opened to the public as a park, a symbol of ancient philosophy, history and religion.
