Spanish Steps is a wide staircase that connects Piazza di Spagna at the bottom and Piazza dei Monti that located in front of church Trinita dei Monti at the top. Spanish Steps was built with funds from France in 1721-1725. This staircase was designed by architect Francesco de Sanctis and Alessandro Specchi. Spanish Steps often used as a filming location, one of them is the Hollywood movie The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Spanish Steps is a favorite gathering place for the citizens of Rome and also tourists, especially in the afternoon and evening. In Spanish Steps there are many people sit on the steps so they all look almost cover the entire staircase from bottom to the top.
