2. Hussain Sagar Lake

Husain Sagar Lake is a beautiful lake that connects two twin cities of Hyderabad and scuderabad. This artificial lake was built in the 16th century to express Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah gratitude to Hussain Shah Wali who helped him to cure his illness.

In addition to the beautiful scenery, a 18 m high statue of Buddha built in the midle Hussain Sagar lake. The statue was carved from white 450 tons granite stone. The stone carved by 200 sculptors in two years. The statue was moved to Hyderabad in 1988.
