This hiking spot is actually a mountain range. The wide-open area is overlooking the busting city of Catalonia. From the description of San Jeroni, you might find this place enchanting. Before you go there, knowing the access to the place will be a great help. In order to access this place, you need to take the Sant Joan funicular. This mountain train is dedicated exclusively for visitors who want to go to the Sant Jeroni. At the other end of this funicular, there is Pla de les Tarantules. It is highly advisable to restock your provision on this station. You do not have to be worried if you do not bring any provision before you go here. The station accommodates this need by selling different types of provisions for hikers.

Once your provision is restocked, continue your trip through the path. It is located on the right side of the station. If on your trip you see small bridge and need to pass it, it means that you already choose the right path. The path should continue in pretty straight line. Several information boards along the way show you the direction to the top of Sant Jeroni. During your trip to the peak, you will be able to see natural formation of four rock pillars. Local people called it as Gorres.

After you see the natural rock formation, the path is getting narrower. It is located between two giant rocks. Passing the rocks, you will be able to get to outlook post on your left. From this post, the scenery of Serra de les Paparres is clearly visible. Once you see the scenery of the area, your trip will totally be worth it. However, your trip is not ended yet. The path goes to valley. Compared to the earlier path, it is surrounded by lush forest.

Few minutes after you pass the forest, you will get into the Chapel of Sant Jeroni. If you are in this chapel, it means that the peak of Sant Jeroni can be accessed in five more minutes. Before you continue your adventure, it is advisable to take a rest and enjoy your provision. The summit of Sant Jerone is the point of this trip. In this lookout post, you can see the nearby area. You can see the direction table that shows the surrounding area. If you want to go back, you can take the same trip to the Sanctuary or using the old path, which is more challenging.
