REED FLUTE CAVE – MAJESTIC CAVE IN GUILIN (CHINA)
China country is so famous throughout the world for its magnificent building the Great Wall of China, which generally become main travel destination foreign tourists. But do you know if China has a lot of other natural attractions that are not less interesting with the Great Wall ?. One of them is the Reed Flute Cave.
Reed Flute Cave in Guilin City, China, is one of the most beautiful caves in the world. This cave is located in a hidden place in the Guangming Hill, approximately 3.2 miles northwest of downtown. Reed Flute Cave is the most famous tourist attraction in Guilin, even China. The cave have it’s name Reed Flute because at the entrance door of the cave there are reeds that can be used as flute.
Although caves generally synonymous with darkness, but the Reed Flute cave emits variety amazing light colors. several years ago the Chinese government put up the lights of various colors in this cave. The combination of the spectacular colors of blue, red, green, and various other colors make each visitors that come here definitely amazed.
Reed Flute Cave length is 240 meters, in the cave there are many beautiful large stalactites and stalagmites. Coupled with an underground lake create an impression of stunning natural scenery. This cave called as “Art Palace of Nature” by locals.
Besides the natural factors, ornaments inside the cave created by human from the past is something magnificent. There are about 70 inscriptions written by ink by Tang Dynasty that was rule the area in 618-907 AD.
