Manorala (Italy) – Mind Blowing Colorful Fishing Village on Hills
Manarola is a small Fishing Village in the province of La Spezia, Italy. Manarola is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site that is recognized as a “harmonious interaction between humans and nature.”
Manarola is one of five small town in the Italy that known as Cinque Terre. Cinque Terre, which translates to “five lands” refers to the five beautiful villages that connected by walkways: Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso al Mare, Manarola and Riomaggiore.
Manarola uniqueness lies in the beauty of its small colorful buildings. This small town located on top of a very steep cliff. beautifully stands facing the sea, the city is changing its image from an ordinary Fishing Village into a tourist attraction that is very lovely to visit.
At the west end of Manarola, there is a small port and located on the east side there lies a church of San Lorenzo and a square where citizens meet for various social activities. And like most other Cinque Terre, there are vineyards everywhere.
Breath fresh coastal air while enjoying the warmth of the sun is one of the most favorite activities that can be done in Manarola. The place is crowded by visitors every day, especially in summer.
