Brooklyn Botanic Garden (New York)
Brooklyn Botanic Garden is actually a collection of more than a dozen different gardens, including the Children’s Park and Discovery Garden, Cherry Esplanade populated by beautiful cherry trees, Rock Garden and the Cranford Rose Garden. The place also consists of several conservatories, including the Bonsai Museum, Tropical Pavilion and Aquatic House.
Of course they are specifically show off botanical diversity of the region of North America (and in one area dedicated to plants from Japan). Which is quite unique, there is one area there named “Shakespeare’s Garden”, in the garden there are quotations words from the works of Shakespeare.
Walking through the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is one thing you should not miss when visiting NYC. We recommend you go to Brooklyn Botanic Garden on Tuesday at 10:00 am until noon because they can give you free entrance ticket for visitors (normal price is $10).
