Arashiyama Bamboo grove (Kyoto, Japan)

Arashiyama Bamboo grove is a protected tourist attraction, located west of the city of Kyoto. Arashiyama is very well known for its bamboo grove. When the holiday comes, the walkway along the bamboo grove was turned into a sea of people.
When walking inside bamboo grove it was like entering another world. Indeed, even if the place is crowded but the silence still feels where bamboo visible as far as the eye can see. When the wind blows, the sound of bamboo leaves vaguely sounds and adds quiet atmosphere.

Inside Arashiyama bamboo grove there is a temple that quite crowded by people to pray. At the front of the temple there is also a shop that sells souvenirs of Japanese specialties.
Visitors do not need to pay to get into Arashiyama bamboo grove. To come to this place from Kyoto Station you can catch the train that crossing JR Sagano Line, and then get down at the Saga Arashiyama station, Get off the train, go out of the station and walk a few minutes to reach the bamboo grove.
