Amalfi Coast (Costiera Amalfitana) is a huge coastline on the southern coast of the Sorrentine Peninsula in the Province of Salerno (Southern Italy). Not only the natural beauty, the Amalfi coast is also rich with cultural and historical heritage. In 1997 UNESCO gave recognition to the Amalfi coast as a World Heritage Site.
